Patchwork!

Finally, I managed to get them! this is one of the baby blanket that was given to jons ( aka the husband) customers, I made a really soft plush toy to go with the blanket! it was lined with a soft and super warm woolen blanket! I hope its something that will be kept for years to come!

Sewing crazy!!

   OK,I have been sewing for a while, but I had never anticipated selling what I have made, however, with over 25 soft toys, of all descriptions, colours and sizes living in many different homes, I have started to consider selling!! And it doesn't stop at soft toys, I have been making quite a few blankets of late too! Last week I finished making a huge patchwork quilt for my best mate, all in the theme of shabby chic! The reason I have never considered selling is because I doubted there would be someone to buy them, however, Im going to start collecting them together to sell, other wise our house is going to be taken over by creatures! My husband has also made the decision to start up his own business, and he will be making soft animals and all things manly, however, seeing the pair of them on my machines (he has gone into it with his best mate) makes me want to make even more! plus we are slowly staring to turn our house into the house of homemade objects! So instead of jewellery making, I have been toy and stuff making! I will post some pictures of the baby's blanket I made last week too, and you can tell me if Im any good!!
