Its almost here, and the mad rush to complete orders and make soft toys, quilts, cufflinks and cards has started! My last date for recieving orders for Christmas is the 15/12/08, so as long as the order is in by then you will have it by Christmas, after that and there are no garentees! I have jsut updated my Not on the High Street shop with my wedding range, as it seems to be my main line of work! How ace is that, I do love making work for other peoples weddings, especially after I made all of the stuff for mine not long ago! I have 4 commissions on at the moment which need to sent off by the end of the week, so I have been pretty busy lately, what with being made full time at Glyndwr University and making my jewellery, but it is keeping me on my toes!! I have ordered myself some lovely sewing books from Amazon this week as a treat for myself, I seem to be moving in the general direction of soft furnishings, and its not too surprising as my jewellery is based on textiles, but I am getting some worried glances from some of my students when I tell them how I will be spending the rest of my evenings! I don't seem to stop! I may as well make the most of it whilst I able, as I have not met many who are fortunate to have a full time lecturing job and still keep on top of all of the cool things (in my case jewellery and soft stuff) they just love making!! The next thing on my long list of stuff to do is make Christmas presents for all of my friends and family, so Jon and I will be sewing crazy, yep, thats right, Jon also has turned into quite a good sewer! so, im hoping my new books will give me some new ideas as to what to make. I really wnat to start to make my own clothes too, so maybe in the new year I will see about getting myself onto a course, because Im getting really fed up with whats available at the moment, and eventhough im not too bad at making skirts ( I made 2 yesterday) I would like to make a lot more! Today I have also been browsing for ages on the LUSH shop website, getting a basket of gifts together for a friend of mine, but also lusting after some gorgeous new stuff! my favourite at the moment is the 
coconut dusting powder! It smells amazing and keeps my hardworking feet smelling lovely even after spending all day on them! Im hoping I will recieve some LUSH goodies for Christmas, so I am going to start dropping some hints!! Has anyone else put their christmas trees up yet? I finding it hard to resist, its oing up tomorrow with all the rest of the decorations, im just too excited!! Well, enjoy the rest of your Sundays, and I hopen you all have a fab week!! cheerio!
