I have been making some new pieces for my 'something old' range of jewellery, which has been keeping me busy amongst all of the work im currently making for the wedding season which is gathering speed! my hands have been so battered by sanding and sawing that I could barely put in my own earrings yesterday! Im sure they will get a good rest over the weekend, and I shall slather them in some hand cream.
Any good reccomendations for hand cream would be greatly appreciated!
I am comming to the end of my own little sample of wedding dress fabric and I am keeping a little bit aside to make myself a new ring or pendant in the style of my 'something old' range as I really love the elaborate bezels and beaded wire, they just really set the fabric off, but I am also working on some pieces that are simply just silver, as Im really interested in finding ways to capture special moments ans dates, and the 'save the date' ring is one of a few pieces that will start appearing in the shop, along with some really delicate, hand stamped, innitial necklaces.
Im off to give my hands a much needed rest,
